Ice in Paradise Blood Drive August 2025

The Vitalant Bloodmobile will be visiting Ice in Paradise on Saturday, August 30th, from noon to 4pm. Registration is required for all donors, and all donors will receive a free skating pass as a thank you for participation. Donors must be at least 16 to donate, and those under the age of 17 must present a parental consent form at the donation available in English here o en español aquí.

Vitalant serves 111 hospitals across California, which includes 26 hospitals on the Central Coast. Local patients require over 200 pints of blood daily to meet their needs, with a quarter of the supply going to cancer patients and their ongoing treatment.

Donors who meet the requirements are encouraged to sign up for a Power Red Donation, which you can find out more about on Vitalant's website here. A Power Red Donation can help up to twice as many patients.
