HOCKEY CAMPS 2022

Want to take your hockey skills to the next level? Our hockey camps provide a chance for players to focus on their skills with a variety of on and off-ice training alongside our professional coaching staff. 

JOIN THE NORTON ACADEMY INTENSIVE HOCKEY CAMP

Want to take your hockey skills to the next level? This camp is focused on advanced level hockey training with our elite coaches. You will elevate your skill through on ice and off ice practice. Skaters must be able to skate on their own and have fundamental skills. Be ready to work hard!




 


The Norton Academy will consist of 1.5 hours of on-ice training and 1 hour of off-ice training per day.
Each day will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Make sure to bring a snack or a small lunch.


$85 per day, drop ins available.

FUN SUMMER HOCKEY CAMP

 July 11th - 15th

July 18th - 22nd

 August 1st - 5th

August 8th - 12th

No experience required! All skating levels are welcome. Ages 4 - 14.
 


 
Enjoy a week of improving your skating skills in a group setting alongside our professional coaching staff. This camp also includes off - training, along with open practice. Skaters will be divided into multiple groups based on age & skill level. Rental skates can be provided if needed.





 

Full Day:  9am-3pm $400

Extended Day: 9am-5pm $450

Sibling Discount applied at checkout

WHAT TO EXPECT

 This camp will focus on basic skills to help build strong, well rounded skaters that are ready to head into the Fall hockey season!

Skaters will work on skating skills like edges, crossovers, speed, etc.

Each day will include stick handling practice where skaters will get more comfortable with on ice skills.

By playing games each day, skaters will not only learn to skate, but also learn the game of hockey to help prepare them for the next hockey season.

All skaters will be supervised and coached by Ice in Paradise professional coaching staff.

9:00am-9:30am  Off Ice Conditioning
9:30am-10:30am On Ice Instruction
10:30am-12:30pm On Ice Guided Practice
12:30pm-1:00pm  Off Ice Conditioning

WHAT TO BRING

Skaters should bring their own snacks, lunch and water bottle. Skaters must also have their own full set of hockey gear and stick, as well as clothes for outside activities.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Skaters can expect a full day of skating and fun. Grouped together by level and age, skaters will find opportunities to practice their skating skills, make friends, and have fun. 

Beginner skaters will work on basic skating skills and work up to more advanced skills as seen fit.

Experienced skaters will work on strengthening their skills and refining individual technique together as a group.

Advanced skaters will further their skating skills through more extensive training of passing/shooting drills, edges, speed, etc.

All skaters will work together with Ice in Paradise professional coaching staff to create choreographed numbers to perform together at the end of the last day of camp.
