Skate to Support Mothers’ Helpers This May

This May, we’re inviting our community to lace up their skates and make a difference. Ice in Paradise is partnering with the local nonprofit Mothers’ Helpers for a special series of public skating sessions designed to support families in our community.

During select public sessions throughout the month, a portion of each admission will be donated to Mothers’ Helpers, helping the organization continue its mission of assisting local families who need extra support.

Skate With Us and Support Local Families

The “Skate to Support” sessions are a simple and fun way to give back. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or stepping onto the ice for the first time, every lap around the rink helps contribute to an important cause.

Twenty-five percent of proceeds from these sessions will go directly to Mothers’ Helpers and their work helping families throughout the Santa Barbara area.

Event Dates and Times

Join us for one (or all!) of these public skate sessions:

Saturday, May 9 — 7:00–9:00 PM

Sunday, May 10 — 1:30–3:30 PM

Saturday, May 23 — 7:00–9:00 PM

Sunday, May 24 — 1:30–3:30 PM

Admission for public skating is $15, and skate rentals are available for $5 if you need them.

A Community Effort

At Ice in Paradise, we believe the rink should be more than just a place to skate—it should be a place where the community comes together. Events like this allow us to combine fun, fitness, and philanthropy while supporting organizations doing meaningful work right here at home.

By attending a session, you’re not only enjoying time on the ice—you’re also helping Mothers’ Helpers continue providing critical support to local families.

Join Us on the Ice

Bring your friends, bring your family, and come skate for a cause. Together, we can turn a few hours on the ice into real support for families in our community.

We hope to see you at the rink this May!
