Our 2026 Presidents’ Day Adult Hockey Tournament delivered a fantastic weekend of competition, camaraderie, and standout performances on the ice. What began years ago as a way to bring players together at Ice in Paradise has grown into a favorite annual tradition, and this year’s event once again showed why.
Teams traveled in from across the region to compete, including the SoCal Hat Tricks out of Orange County, who entered two teams and made an impressive run to both championship games—a testament to their depth and strong play throughout the weekend.

In the 50+ Division, SB Healthy Scratch put together a dominant performance in the championship game on February 13, defeating the SoCal Hat Tricks 8–2. Billy Schreiber led the way with a hat trick and two assists, while Steve Heinze and Scott Reynolds each added three points. SB Healthy Scratch controlled the game from start to finish to secure the title.

The 60+ Division championship brought plenty of excitement, as the Outlaws and the SoCal Hat Tricks battled to a thrilling 4–3 overtime finish. After a tightly contested game in regulation, Mark Henderson sealed the win for the Outlaws with a decisive slapshot just 2:36 into overtime, giving his team the championship in dramatic fashion.

Year after year, this tournament continues to highlight the best parts of adult hockey—competitive games, lasting connections, and a shared love of the sport. Thank you to all the players, teams, and supporters who made this year’s event such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the ice next Presidents’ Day!
