Presidents' Day Tournament 2025 Recap

Did you miss the action of our Annual Presidents' Day Tournament 2025? Keep scrolling to read a recap!


​This year's Presidents' Day Tournament, held starting Friday, February 14, 2025 and ending on Sunday, February 16, 2025, successfully welcomed 10 teams who participated in two divisions, 50+ and 60+.

The squads included Elder Skatesmen (from Fresno), California Falcons (from Valencia), Team Minnesota (organized by Ice In Paradise founder, Jack Norqual), Integral Stick Repair (from San Jose), OC Hat Tricks (from Orange County), and Penguin Skate (captained by former Ice in Paradise Manager, Larry Bruyere).


Three in-house teams also participated in the tourney including the SB Healthy Scratch (captained by Charlie Batsford), who won the 50+ championship, the Islanders (captained by Kevin Latvala), and the Bottenators (captained by Mike McDevitt and Tony McIlwain).


Scott Reynolds scored 4 goals to lead SB Healthy Scratch to an 8-2 win over Elder Skatesmen in the 50+ division of our Presidents' Day Tournament.

In the 60+ championship, Fresno-based Elder Skatesmen defeated Team Minnesota 4-2.
