Ice Hawks Call Ice in Paradise Home

The Santa Barbara Ice Hawks (SBIH or the Ice Hawks) is a co-ed travel hockey club, governed by the non-profit association, Santa Barbara Minor Hockey Association. The Ice Hawks is composed of different divisions with players aged 6-18 that travel and compete in amateur competitions throughout Southern California.

Since 2016, the Ice Hawks have called Ice in Paradise home, with the rink hosting tryouts, all practices, and league games for divisions from 8U to 18U. The Ice Hawks value sportsmanship, discipline, commitment, and leadership from their players on and off the ice, many principles that Ice in Paradise also wants their skaters to embody. Skaters often start in Ice in Paradise's Learn to Skate and Youth Hockey programs and later transition to one of the Ice Hawks' travel teams. We're happy that those invaluable life skills are still being taught and encouraged.

The Ice Hawk teams have achieved many accomplishments over the years, including, most recently, the 14U-A team becoming the SCAHA and CAHA Champions for the 2024-2025 season. Ice in Paradise is proud to be the home rink to the Santa Barbara Ice Hawks, and we're glad to continue supporting them by providing a fun, safe, and positive environment.
